Sweet and The Silent Man

Lyrics

Feel

It’s so funny but it’s not funny when the joke’s on you

It’s so funny but it’s not funny when the joke’s on you
See that finger you’re pointing
We’re turning it back but we make it two
And it’s so funny but it’s not funny when the joke’s on you
We’re not circus freaks
We’re not the dirt on the bottom of your shoe

So take your judgements and find them a new place to call home
Boring us with unwanted advice we never asked to know
We don’t pose no threat we don’t cause any harm

But why do you feel
The need to shoot us down

It’s so funny but it’s not funny when the joke’s on you
When the labels are laughing and even the t-shirts you buy
Are saying fuck you
And it’s so funny but it’s not funny when the joke’s on you
When the life you’re living is the one the TV dictates you do

So take your fake tans, designer shoes
Your beverly hills smile, your dodgy gurus
Plastic dolls from a synthetic age
The media’s got a hold on you
But why do you

Why do you feel
The need to shoot us down
